Adjustable Thumb Support for CMC Stabilization, Arthritis & Injury
The Wahoo™ Thumb Splint & CMC Thumb Brace provides customizable support and stabilization for the thumb and CMC joint. Designed for people who need additional thumb support due to arthritis, thumb injuries or CMC instability, the Wahoo combines structured stabilization with soft, breathable materials for comfortable everyday wear.
Unlike a rigid thumb cast, the Wahoo uses an adjustable support system that allows the brace to be configured for the individual wearer. Its three-stay system features removable, stackable and bendable stays, allowing the level of thumb stabilization to be customized for the desired function.
Customizable CMC Thumb Support
The Wahoo is designed to help stabilize the CMC joint at the base of the thumb while supporting the thumb and wrist. The adjustable stays can be removed or modified as needed, making the brace adaptable to different support requirements.

Comfortable, Breathable Construction
Support shouldn't require giving up comfort. The Wahoo is made with soft, breathable, non-neoprene hypoallergenic material designed to provide compression and comfort during wear.
The open-finger design leaves the fingers free while the brace stabilizes the thumb and wraps around the wrist. This provides thumb support without unnecessarily covering the rest of the hand.
Adjustable Thumb and Wrist Straps
The Wahoo features an adjustable strap design that secures the brace around both the thumb and wrist. This helps create a secure fit while allowing the amount of compression and support to be adjusted.
Application is straightforward: insert the thumb into the opening, secure the palm side of the wrist strap, secure the thumb strap and then secure the wrist strap.
One Brace for the Left or Right Hand
There's no need to select a separate left- or right-hand model. The current Wahoo Thumb Orthosis is designed to accommodate both the left and right hand, making it a convenient universal option.
