Adjustable Hand & Wrist Splint with Finger Support
The EzyWrap Platform Hand Orthosis is an adjustable hand and wrist splint with finger support designed to provide customizable stabilization and positioning of the hand, wrist and fingers. Its extended platform design combines wrist and forearm support with adjustable finger and palmar straps, making it suitable when more comprehensive support is needed than a conventional wrist splint alone.
The orthosis may be used for identified indications including carpal tunnel syndrome, finger contractures and wrist sprains or strains. It can also provide support and positioning following injury or postoperatively when directed by a medical professional.
Customizable Hand, Wrist & Finger Positioning
Unlike a basic wrist brace, the Platform Hand Orthosis incorporates embedded bendable aluminum stays for strong, customizable support. The stays can be adjusted by an individual with expertise when different positioning is required.
The strap system is also designed for customization. Fully moveable, adjustable and trimmable straps allow the fit and level of control to be adapted to the individual wearer. The finger strap can be positioned and tightened to the appropriate pressure, while the palmar straps secure across the back of the hand.
Comfortable, Breathable Construction
The Platform Hand Orthosis uses a breathable composite UBL and polyurethane foam construction designed to provide support while maintaining wearer comfort. The adjustable system also provides universal sizing, helping accommodate different hand and forearm dimensions.
Universal Sizing
The Platform Hand Orthosis is available in a universal size. To determine fit, measure the circumference of both the forearm and fingers.
Sizing:
Forearm circumference: up to 12 inches (31 cm)
Finger circumference: up to 8 inches (21 cm)
These measurements correspond directly with your sizing chart and IFU.
Optional First Ice® Cold Therapy
For users who need cold therapy in addition to stabilization, the Platform Hand Orthosis is compatible with the optional First Ice® Direct Stick™ 6" × 7" Cold Therapy Pack. The Direct Stick design can be applied to the affected area and secured with the orthosis straps without requiring a separate pocket.
The cold therapy pack is an optional accessory and is not included unless specifically stated with the product offering.
