Ankle Ice Pack & Compression Wrap for Targeted Therapy
The EzyWrap Universal Ankle Therapy System combines an adjustable ankle compression wrap with targeted hot or cold therapy for convenient ankle recovery and rehabilitation. The single-piece wrap surrounds the ankle while two wide, independently adjustable straps provide customizable compression and a secure fit.
Unlike a standard ice pack that must be held against the ankle, the system is designed to work with EzyWrap Direct Stick™ therapy packs, allowing the therapy pack to be positioned directly on the desired area of the wrap. This helps keep cold or heat therapy positioned where it is needed while the compression wrap remains secured around the ankle.
Cold Therapy or Hot & Cold Therapy
Choose the therapy option that best fits your needs:
First Ice® System – Provides targeted cold therapy for the ankle using 6" × 12" First Ice® Direct Stick™ cold therapy packs.
First Gel® System – Provides both hot and cold ankle therapy using reusable 6" × 12" First Gel® Direct Stick™ hot/cold therapy packs.
Both systems combine the therapy packs with the Universal Ankle Compression Wrap, providing an integrated alternative to trying to hold a conventional ice pack against the ankle. The product literature identifies post-operative, post-injury and rehabilitation pain and inflammation among its intended applications.
Designed for Ankle Injuries & Recovery
The Universal Ankle Therapy System is designed for adults and children with identified indications and may be used as directed for acute ankle injuries including sprains, fractures and contusions, as well as chronic ankle conditions including arthritis and tendonitis. It may also be used for post-operative, post-injury and rehabilitation-related pain and inflammation.
The wrap can also be applied over a post-operative dressing when present, according to the product instructions.
Adjustable Ankle Compression
Two wide, independent compression straps allow the fit and compression to be adjusted around the ankle. The single-piece construction simplifies application while providing a low-profile wrap that can be repositioned and reapplied as needed.
The universal design fits either the left or right ankle, eliminating the need to select a specific side. The non-neoprene, hypoallergenic material and soft interface are designed with user comfort in mind.
Universal Sizing
The ankle wrap is one universal size. Measure around the largest circumference of the affected ankle to determine fit. The product instructions specify a maximum ankle circumference of 12 inches (32 cm).
