Chest Circumference :

Female: Measure circumference of the chest just below the bust-line.

Male: Measure circumference of the chest at its widest point. Sizing Is Best Determined by Measuring the Patient with Their Arm At Their Side At a 90° Angle. Measure the Vertical Distance From the Uppermost Point on the Lateral Edge of the Shoulder to the Tip of the Elbow.

FITTING
When fitting "sling type" immobilizers, caution should be taken not to make the strap adjustments too short forcing the shoulder into a shrugged position. The shoulder should be maintained in a neutral position and relaxed into the sling portion of the immobilizer. A properly fitted sling should be long enough to fully support the hand and wrist but not cover the fingers.

Got a prescription for this shoulder abduction system - it supposed to be helping me with my post operative healing - it does give my elbow some support, wish it did more for the pain, though

not the best looking contraption but it keeps my shoulder steady after my surgery. the post op recovery hasn't been going as fast as i'd like - good thing is you cna wear this when you sleep so you have 24 hour support.
