The WSO™ (Wrist Stabilizing Orthosis) Wrist Guard was developed in cooperation with Athletic Trainers and Orthotists who were interested in minimizing unwanted wrist dorsiflexion (extension) injuries for football lineman, snowboarders, baseball players, and those wanting to protect thier wrist when they have wrist pain, e.g., from carpal tunnel.

The WSO™ was designed to replace taping and is also appropriate for other sports injuries and prophylactic protection. The WSO™ wrist guard is made of durable nylon and comfortable Neoprene components, each chosen to withstand the rigors of any demanding activity. This wrist guard is perfect as a snowboard wrist guard, baseball wrist guard, and even as a bowling wrist guard.

Recommended for wrist dorsiflexion (extension) resistance (if you need to keep your wrist from bending), repetitive weight bearing injuries (for example as a football linemen), and acute weight bearing injuries or other wrist injury. Manufactured in the United States, this product is excellent as a standard wrist guard, snowboard wrist guard, baseball wrist guard, bowling wrist guard, and carpal tunnel wrist guard. Also, use this wrist guard when you are trying to mitigate bumping your wrist against an object, which can induce great wrist pain, especially when your wrist hurts already.

My trainer recommended that I use this wrist guard - I wanted one that worked with all the activities do - finding a good quality one that fits as snowboard gloves with wrist guards really works out well for me. I didn't know they made snowboard wrist guards, but I'm very glad I found this - it really works out well for me.
