- 1. Get a firm footing with toes pointing forward.
- 2. Bend with your knees. Do not bend at the waist.
- 3. Tighten the stomach muscles. Lift with your legs, not with the weaker back muscles.
- 4. Keep the load close to your body. Keep your back straight. Do not turn or twist with your back.

Sizing
Measure circumference of the hips at the widest point.
Due to a wide range in waist and hip difference in many patients, size may need to be adjusted up or down by one size for a proper fit.
Correct sizing is essential for patient comfort and product effectiveness. The product should fit tightly enough to provide even, constant pressure without having any impact on the patient’s breathing. The product should not impinge on the patient’s ribs or groin when seated. Please Indicate Size when Ordering. Please use proper lifting techniques with the Lift Belt.
