Rigid posterior, anterior, and lateral panels stabilize the lumbar/ lumbosacral region producing intracavitary pressure. The posterior compartment window opening provides easy access to the surgical sight, allowing contoured bags of Q4 FirstICE® or Ezy-GeL™ to be applied without removing the orthosis and without the complication of pockets, while minimizing mobilization of the spine. The Q4 FirstICE® bags are manufactured with a patented formula that provides up to four hours of continuous cryotherapy while preventing cryo burn, permitting direct application to the skin and obtaining maximum effectiveness.
