Managed to fracture a bone in my foot and luckily ddn't need a plaster cast, but did need a foot cast and this open heel cast shoe has definitely been the ticket - very lightweight and easy to put on, has me walking again and closer to my normal stride than I would have imagined, very comfortable and easy to use.
