MEASURING Thigh measurement is 3" above Mid-Patella with no soft tissue compression. Calf measurement may be necessary when the calf is proportionally large and should be taken 3" below Mid-Patella. Refer to the calf upper limit listed in sizing chart, when the calf measurement exceeds the limit, choose the next larger size. Nonathletic patients in the upper limits of the thigh size range may prefer the next larger size. When fitting wrap around knee sleeves, it is recommended that the patient be fit with the next larger size to allow for more accurate sizing.

the contoured design gives it an exceptional fit - much better support than the old one i was trying to get buy with was doing. gives a bunch of support to my ACL tear and is a good donjoy style functional brace without the heafty price.
