MEASURING

Thigh measurement is 3" above Mid-Patella with no soft tissue compression. Calf measurement may be necessary when the calf is proportionally large and should be taken 3" below Mid-Patella. Refer to the calf upper limit below, when the calf measurement exceeds the limit, choose the next larger size. Nonathletic patients in the upper limits of the thigh size range may prefer the next larger size. When fitting wrap around knee sleeves, it is recommended that the patient be fit with the next larger size to allow for more accurate sizing.

After surgery, I needed to rehab my knee and the tear I had from running was giving me a lot of pain. This knee injury was worse than either I or my doctor thought it was initially and going through rehabilitation to make it stronger hasn't been easy. I bought this knee brace to give some extra support to the knee joint and I like how snug it fits without cutting off circulation...like the cheap one I was using before. Fits like a glove, keeps the area warm, loose, and limber - which is all I can ask for at this point.
