This nylon lined product features an open patella area with an inferior (below knee cap) buttress and Velcro® loop lock closure. Medial/lateral support is provided by removable single axis hinges with extension stop settings of 15, 30, and 45 degrees and 2 inch stabilization straps. MEASURING

Thigh measurement is 3" above Mid-Patella with no soft tissue compression. Calf measurement may be necessary when the calf is proportionally large and should be taken 3" below Mid-Patella. Refer to the calf upper limit below, when the calf measurement exceeds the limit, choose the next larger size. Nonathletic patients in the upper limits of the thigh size range may prefer the next larger size. When fitting wrap around knee sleeves, it is recommended that the patient be fit with the next larger size to allow for more accurate sizing.

I needed a post op knee brace, but something that was still a functional brace - just because I need extra supprot beacuse of my arthritis doesn't mean I can't or don't need to move around. It's a good fit for an ice pack, or as my physical therapist calls it 'cryotherapy'. The cold pack helps after a long rehab session, works wonders with pain relief, and it's really coming along.
