Sized Arm Elevator with Ice Bag Pockets

Reduces edema of the hand and arm following surgery.

  • Medial and Lateral Ice Bag Pockets
  • Elastic Binding Assists in Securing Ice Bags
  • Converts to Sling with 1½ Inch Web Shoulder Strap with Buckle Closure and Perforated Vinyl Pad
  • Front Velcro® Closure

MEASURING
Forearm Length: Measure from the lateral epicondyle to the fifth metacarpo-phalangeal joint.

FITTING
When fitting "sling type" immobilizers, caution should be taken not to make the strap adjustments too short forcing the shoulder into a shrugged position. The shoulder should be maintained in a neutral position and relaxed into the sling portion of the immobilizer. A properly fitted sling should be long enough to fully support the hand and wrist but not cover the fingers.

Doc prescribed this for me after surgery. It's a hand elevator, to keep the hand from swelling post op and its been working well, there is still some pain at the site of the injury but other than that, it's helping me hand and wrist quite abit.

I like the pockets this hand elevator has for ice packs. It's been a big big help in letting me manage my elbown injury. Simple to put on too.
