FITTING
Slings should always be worn in a slightly elevated position to encourage
good circulation and to ensure the elbow is seated firmly in the back of the sling.
Accurate fit and application are essential for patient comfort and to eliminate complications.
A properly fitted sling should be long enough to fully support the hand and wrist but not cover
the fingers.
